On a Mac, press Command+V to paste the image. Its in the 'Images' section of the gray Insert menu bar, which is near the top of the OneNote window. Or press Command+Control+Shift+4 to click and drag part of the screen you want to capture. On a Mac keyboard, press Command+Control+Shift+3 keys simultaneously to capture the whole screen and copy it to the clipboard. Your screen clipping is immediately sent to the clipboard so that you can paste it into any application, including OneNote. I notice that I can use Windows+N to 'create quick note' and Windows+Shift+S to 'open OneNote' but only that one wont work. It's Windows+Shift+S, and it will launch the same functionality. Hello I know that for latest OneNote, the screen clipping shortcut is Windows+Shift+S, but it wont work for me. Notice in the tool tip, there is a keyboard shortcut that you can use for this. We're going to go to the Insert ribbon, and here within the images group is Screen Clipping. Built into the OneNote application, you can take a screen-clipping of anything that you have open on your monitor. You might also use the snipping tool that's part of the Windows operating system. You may use the print screen key on your keyboard. You might already be familiar with screen-clipping or taking a screenshot.
